The Big Kem STRYDE Challenge is a unique indoor fitness and movement competition designed specifically for children, youth and families. Unlike traditional obstacle races that focus on endurance or strength alone, STRYDE develops fundamental movement skills (FMS) through exciting, timed challenge stations that combine agility, coordination, balance, speed and problem-solving.
Kempers race individually against the clock through a series of seven carefully designed stations, each testing a different movement skill. Every station is age-appropriate, ensuring younger kempers experience success while older kempers are challenged to demonstrate speed, technique and athletic performance.
The event is suitable for first-time kempers, recreational athletes and young sports enthusiasts alike, creating an inclusive environment that promotes confidence, healthy lifestyles and lifelong participation in physical activity.
